Elsa G. Collins

Elsa Collins is an experienced professional with a robust background in leadership and strategic communication within higher education and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Trustee Nominations and Stewardship at Lehigh University since July 2014, Elsa represents the president’s office and oversees the cultivation of potential Board of Trustees candidates. Previously, Elsa held leadership roles at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, including Chief of Staff to the President, where responsibilities encompassed managing special projects, governmental affairs, and serving as a liaison to the KU Foundation. Early career experiences include positions at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of the Lehigh Valley and Union Pacific Railroad, showcasing skills in operations management and public relations. Elsa holds an MBA in Marketing/Management from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Universidad de Monterrey.
