Jason Schiffer

Jason Schiffer currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Campus Safety and Chief of Police at Lehigh University, a position held since January 2018. In this role, Jason oversees the Campus Safety Division, which includes campus law enforcement, crisis response, and safety compliance, while promoting collaboration among various safety-related teams at the university. Prior to this, Jason worked as Chief of Police at Cohen, Feeley, Altemose & Rambo from September 2013 to January 2018, focusing on personal injury and workers' compensation cases, and retired as Chief of Police in the City of Bethlehem after nearly 20 years of service. Earlier career experiences include roles as an attorney specializing in labor and employment law and as a computer network administrator at B. Braun Medical. Jason earned a Juris Doctor degree from Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from DeSales University. Military service includes a brief tenure with the United States Marine Corps, receiving an honorable discharge due to physical disability.
