Heather Fuhrman, RLA

Project Director at Lehrer Cumming

Heather Fuhrman has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of project management and landscape architecture. Heather worked as a Project Director at Lehrer Cumming starting in 2020, where they oversaw the delivery and closeout of a mid-rise commercial and retail project in Tribeca, NY, as well as provided advisory services for the development of Columbia Manhattanville's Large Square. Prior to their role as Project Director, they served as a Sr. Project Manager at the same company from 2018 to 2020, where they managed the delivery of Eataly locations in various cities and was involved in the construction of the TWA Hotel.

Before joining Lehrer Cumming, Heather worked at MNLA from 2008 to 2016, initially as a Landscape Designer and later as a Sr. Landscape Architect. In these roles, they managed and designed various large and small-scale projects, including the renovation of Trinity and St. Paul's Churchyards, Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center, and residential amenity terraces. Heather was also involved in waterfront projects such as the Hudson River Park extension, Pier 25 and 26, and the East River Esplanade.

Throughout their career, Heather has demonstrated strong project management skills and expertise in landscape architecture, with a focus on delivering high-quality projects from concept to final delivery.

Heather Fuhrman, RLA has a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from The City College of New York, which they obtained from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science at the University of North Florida from 2000 to 2002. Additionally, they obtained their certification as a Registered Landscape Architect from the New York State Education Department in 2014.
