Astrid Gyllenkrok Kristensen has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Astrid is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of LEIA since January 2021. Prior to that, Astrid worked as the Head of Operations at Yrkesdörren, a social impact startup aiming to create inclusive meetings between new and established Swedes. During their tenure, they implemented a successful new strategy that resulted in a more than 100% increase in results. Their responsibilities included setting KPIs, establishing collaborations with relevant stakeholders, overseeing strategic communication and change management, and ensuring a sustainable revenue model.

Before Yrkesdörren, Astrid worked as a Strategy Advisor at Axfoundation for the ÖppnaDörren and Yrkesdörren initiatives. Astrid also served as the Head of Content Marketing at MTG Sverige Modern Times Group and as the Country Manager for Viaplay, where their mission was to establish Viaplay as the number one streaming platform in the Nordics. In their role at Viaplay, they were responsible for implementing brand, sales, and marketing efforts in Sweden, optimizing media mix and ROI, and driving the country strategy in alignment with global best practices.

Astrid also has experience as the Founder of agyll consulting, where they provided consulting services. Astrid served as the Managing Advertising, Sales & Sponsorships for CNN International, UK & Scandinavia, managing advertising and partnership activities for the Scandinavian and UK regions. Prior to CNN, Astrid worked as a Project Head at Michael Peters & Partners, assisting in starting up a new virtual integrated agency and managing various accounts. Astrid began their career as an Account Manager at JKR, managing key accounts and brands such as Mars, Twix, M&M's, Diageo, and Danone.

Astrid Gyllenkrok Kristensen has a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Lund University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2005. Astrid also holds another Bachelor's degree in Litteraturvetenskap from Stockholm University, which they earned in 2006. Additionally, they have a B.Sc in Media & Communication Studies from Lund University, which they completed from 2003 to 2005. Astrid Gyllenkrok Kristensen also received a Bachelor's degree in Media & Communication from Lunds universitet.
