Andrei Mitrofanov

Andrei Mitrofanov is a Doctoral Researcher at Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden since August 2020, focusing on the investigation of low-dimensional halide perovskites with conjugated ligands for optoelectronic applications and supervising student projects. In March and April 2023, Andrei served as a Guest Researcher at the University of Groningen, researching low-dimensional perovskite-based memristors. Prior to this, Andrei worked as a Research Fellow and DAAD Scholar at Technische Universität Dresden, conducting research on CdSe-based semiconductor planar nanoparticles, and held various research fellowships at Saint Petersburg State University, including work on high-purity decamethylcyclopentasiloxane and metal stearate Langmuir-Blodgett films. Andrei's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Technische Universität Dresden, a Postgraduate Degree in Chemistry from Saint Petersburg State University, and a Specialist Degree in Chemistry from the same institution.
