Nicholas Dennison is a skilled researcher with extensive experience in high-throughput screening (HTS) and automated culture systems. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden since November 2017, Nicholas manages an HTS facility and develops scripts for automated 3D culture and analysis. As a PhD candidate at the same institution, Nicholas focused on creating an automated HTS platform for 3D vasculogenesis models. Simultaneously, Nicholas is a Research and Development Associate at Neuron-D GmbH, refining neuronal culture protocols and developing image analysis algorithms. Previous roles include research assistant at Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems IKTS, handling Surface Plasmon Resonance Technology, and a trainee at 2bind GmbH, working on MicroScale Thermophoresis Technology for molecular interactions. Nicholas holds a PhD in Chemistry and degrees in Nanobiophysics and Biotechnology from Technische Universität Dresden and Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, respectively.
