André Brehme

André Brehme is an experienced Image Processing Engineer currently employed at Leica Camera AG since May 2022. Previously, André held roles as a Software Engineer at HENSOLDT from September 2021 to May 2022 and at FERCHAU from July 2020 to September 2021. André also completed a Master’s thesis at BMW Group in 2019, focusing on the evaluation of model-based methods for detecting and modeling dynamic vehicle components. Additional experience includes an internship in Computer Vision for Autonomous Driving at BMW Group, where André worked on software development in computer vision and deep learning, and a student role at ABB. André earned a Master of Science in Mechatronics and Robotics from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and holds Bachelor’s degrees in Physical Technology and Physics from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen and Justus Liebig University Giessen, respectively.
