Samuel Ramos

Samuel Ramos is an accomplished Optics Development Engineer at Leica Camera AG since January 2013, specializing in the development of lenses and accessories, along with ensuring mass production suitability and special edition lens management. Previously, as a Product Development Engineer at NAUTILUS S.A. from April 2011 to December 2012, Samuel focused on designing technological furniture for education, employing advanced sheet metal design and SolidWorks for product customization and project management. Earlier experience includes working at INEGI Porto from September 2008 to March 2011, where Samuel contributed to the mechanical design of a prototype robot for breast cancer detection in collaboration with CERN, along with hydraulic and mechanical designs for a hydrogen production reactor. Samuel holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, obtained in 2008.
