Dr. Svetomir Stankovic

Dr. Svetomir Stankovic has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Most recently, they served as the Vice President Global Operations at Leica Microsystems since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Operations at Leica Camera AG from April 2020 to December 2022.

Before joining Leica, Dr. Stankovic held positions at Toppan Photomasks Germany GmbH, where they served as the Director of Front End and was also a board member of the Joint Venture company Advanced Mask Technology Center GmbH & Co. KG. Dr. Svetomir was responsible for managing the Front End department and overseeing teams in Applications, Order Entry, Customer Service, and Technical Planning.

Dr. Stankovic's earlier experience includes working as a Project Manager at Advanced Mask Technology Center, where they managed technology development projects and customer qualifications. Dr. Svetomir also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Technische Universität Darmstadt.

Throughout their career, Dr. Stankovic has consistently demonstrated their expertise in operations management and technology development, making him a valuable asset in their various leadership positions.

- Dr. Svetomir completed their PhD in Physics (Optics) at the Technische Universität Darmstadt from 1997 to 2002.

- Dr. Svetomir attained a Diploma (Master) in Physics from the Technische Universität Darmstadt from 1991 to 1997.
