Ken Calderone

Ken Calderone currently serves as an Advanced Workflow Specialist in Confocal at Leica Microsystems since October 2022. Prior to this role, Ken Calderone worked at Michigan Medicine from August 2010 to August 2022, progressing from Research Laboratory Technician Associate to Lead. In these positions, Ken Calderone focused on the investigation of 3D interactions between dendritic cells and the extracellular matrix in human skin, and contributed to the development of advanced microscopy techniques such as Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) and two-photon excitation fluorescence (TPEF). Ken Calderone holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Western Michigan University, earned in May 2010.
