Philipp Becker

Philipp Becker is a seasoned professional in operational excellence and management, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Assembly Operations and DBS Leader Support Functions at Leica Microsystems since August 2022. In this role, Philipp has successfully implemented Kaizen and certification initiatives across HR, Finance, IT, and Legal, enhancing DBS maturity and facilitating diverse representation within the organization. Prior to this, Philipp held various positions at KAMAX, including Senior Global Lean Manager and Operational Excellence Manager, where responsibilities encompassed leading cross-departmental projects, implementing operational excellence systems, and enhancing productivity at multiple production sites. Additionally, Philipp contributed to coaching and development within the sports community as Co-Head Coach at the Detroit Handball Club. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen.
