Susanne Andreae

Susanne Andreae has been VP of Strategy & Business Development since January 2023. Susanne brings over 20 years of international experience in life science and healthcare strategy, partnerships and business development.

She joins Leica from the World Economic Forum, where she was Head of the Health & Healthcare Industry for three years, responsible for healthcare transformation and public-private partnerships. Previously, she held various Strategy, R&D and Global Operations roles at Merck KGaA for over ten years. Susanne started her career as Strategy Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group.

She holds a diploma in Biochemistry from the University of Hannover, Germany and a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Paris XI.
