Allen Olson

Allen Olson is an accomplished Principal Consultant at Analytical Solutions, specializing in digital imaging systems with expertise in autofocusing methods, image correction algorithms, and color science. Prior to this role, Olson held the position of Principal Engineer in Innovation Science at Leica Biosystems, where responsibilities included leading the innovation process for scanning technologies and solving significant technical challenges. Olson's previous experience includes managing image analysis applications at Aperio, serving as Senior Staff Engineer for advanced medical imaging at Trex Enterprises, and conducting research at SPAWAR and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Olson holds a PhD in Geophysics and a BA in Applied Mechanics and Engineering Science from UC San Diego.
