Jurate Baker

Jurate Baker is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various managerial roles. Currently serving as Senior Accounting Manager at Leica Biosystems since September 2016, Jurate has significantly enhanced the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting and account reconciliations, while successfully transitioning to SMART close. Prior to this, Jurate held the position of Senior Corporate Accountant at The Hillman Group, overseeing the monthly consolidation process for multiple business units. Earlier experience includes serving as Manager of Audit and Forensic at Faulkner & Thompson, P.A., conducting audits across various industries, and as a Staff Auditor intern at Deloitte & Touche, LLP. Jurate Baker holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Accounting from Winthrop University.
