Karen Thede

Karen Thede has over 25 years of experience in software quality assurance and engineering, primarily with Leica Biosystems, where tenure spans over a decade, including a decade at Aperio, a leader in Digital Pathology. Current positions include Technical Lead and Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, with responsibilities that extend to project management, creating Test Plans, and coordinating training for international teams. Previous roles include Software Verification Test Engineer at Cassidian Communications, Quality Assurance Analyst at EISI, and Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Avexus, along with management positions in retail. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Clothing Textiles & Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and an AA in General Studies from Rochester Community College.
