Hellen Jackson is a seasoned communications professional with 23 years of experience in media, stakeholder relations, public relations, crisis communications, and journalism. Currently serving as the Senior Communications and Campaigns Officer at Leicestershire Police since January 2005, Hellen designs and evaluates comprehensive communications campaigns and leads communication efforts for the force’s major transformation initiative, Blueprint 2020. Previous roles include Temporary Head of Public Relations and Divisional Public Relations Officer, where Hellen managed communication strategies and media relations to enhance the police force's reputation. Hellen has also contributed as External Communications Lead for the National Police Chiefs' Council and held positions at the East Midlands Operational Support Service and BBC Radio Leicester. Academic credentials include a Post Graduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Wales, Cardiff, along with communication studies from KU Leuven and Coventry University.
