Director Of Bachelor Clinical Technology At LUMC at Leiden University Medical Center

Frank Willem Jansen has extensive work experience in the field of medical technology and academia. Frank Willem served as the Chairman and Board Member at Medical Delta since October 2020. In addition, they have been a Medical Delta Professor and Member of the Scientific Board since January 2010. Prior to this, they held the position of Professor in Gynecology and Minimally Invasive Techniques and Technologies at Leiden University Medical Center starting in January 2009. Frank Willem also served as the Director of the bachelor Clinical Technology program at LUMC. Furthermore, they have been a Professor in Minimally Invasive Techniques and Technologies at TU Delft since January 2009.

Frank Willem Jansen has a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Groningen, obtained in 1983. Frank Willem later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Medicine from Leiden University, completing it in 1997. In 2000, they completed a visiting fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine. Additionally, they obtained a Mediator registration from NMI in 2006. Frank Willem has also participated in a Leadership program at Avicenna Academy for Leadership in 2017 and a Good Governance board potential program at Nationaal Register in 2018.
