Hung-Wah Lam

Hung-Wah Lam currently serves as the Head of the International Relations Department at Leiden University since January 2022, following prior roles as Board Secretary at CWTS Leiden University and Member of the Advisory Council at the Netherlands-Flemish Institute in Cairo. With extensive experience in international relations, Hung-Wah has previously held positions such as Head of the International Office for the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs and Senior International Relations Officer at Leiden University College, focusing on international exchange programs. Additional roles include Functional Application Manager and Admissions Officer, alongside academic positions as Assistant Editor and Researcher in the Department of Chinese Studies. Education includes an MSc in Public Policy and Management from SOAS University of London, an MA in Chinese Studies, and an LLM in Criminal Law from Leiden University, with ongoing studies at the University of London.
