Laura Benner

Laura Benner currently serves as a Jurist Arbeidsrecht/Beleidsadviseur at Universiteit Leiden since January 2023. Prior to this role, Laura worked as an Advocaat at Boontje Advocaten from March 2020 to January 2023 and gained experience as a Werkstudent at Jones Day and as a Student-stagiaire at DingemansVanderKind in 2019. Laura's earlier academic contributions include serving as a Student-assistent for Decaan André Nollkaemper and in the arbeidsrecht chair group at Universiteit van Amsterdam between August 2016 and February 2018. Laura's involvement in university governance includes participation in the Bestuurlijk Overleg of the Faculty of Law and as a member of the Centrale Studentenraad from July 2014 to September 2016. Academically, Laura holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Arbeidsrecht from Universiteit van Amsterdam (2018-2020) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Rechtsgeleerdheid from the same institution (2012-2015), alongside completing VWO at Damstede with a focus on Economics and Society from 2004 to 2012.
