Richard Elfering

Richard Elfering is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and system administration. Currently serving as a Senior VMware Cloud and Storage Administrator in a DevOps role at Universiteit Leiden since June 2016, Richard has played a pivotal role in building a pioneering private cloud infrastructure using VMware technology. Prior to this, Richard worked as an IT Specialist at Resultaat Groep, providing clients with expert IT solutions, and as a Senior Technical Consultant at CSC, where Richard offered technical support and consultancy for Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, and healthcare software. Richard's earlier roles include Systeem Specialist at vts Politie Nederland, where Richard managed the complete Windows infrastructure, and Senior Systeembeheerder at IVENT, alongside a role as Systeembeheerder at Koninklijke Marechaussee.
