Simay Çetin

Simay Çetin is a Doctoral Researcher at Leiden University since November 2022, with extensive experience in recruitment and research roles. Prior to the current position, Simay served as a Campus & Early Talent Recruiter and Corporate Recruiter at Easygenerator from February 2021 to September 2022, managing the full recruitment cycle and engaging with candidates for entry-level roles. Earlier experience includes a role as a Design Researcher at Butterfly Works, where focus was on gender sensitivity and youth unemployment, and research internships at İstanbul Ekonomi Araştırma and Amnesty International, concentrating on social media's impact in political contexts. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology from Leiden University and Bachelor's degrees in Social Sciences from the University of Amsterdam and Political Science from Sciences Po.
