Cayley Rice

Cayley Rice, Ph.D., MPH, serves as the VP of Strategic R&D at Leidos since November 2008, focusing on connecting R&D efforts to real-world challenges and delivering innovative solutions. Previously, Cayley held various leadership roles at Leidos, including Director of Technology & Integration and Interim CTO of the C4ISR Operation, where strategic influence and innovation management for a $1+B operation were key responsibilities. With extensive experience in mathematics and technology, Cayley contributed to defining strategies for sensor technologies and managing complex projects. Academic experience includes teaching positions at Albion College, University of San Diego, and UC San Diego, alongside research roles at the Institute for Defense Analyses. Cayley holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology, a Ph.D. in Mathematics, a Master's in Mathematics, and a Bachelor's in Mathematics and Sociology.
