Chris Gerty is a human-centered spacesuit engineer and entrepreneur focused on leveraging emerging technologies for societal progress. With a diverse background at NASA, Chris held roles including engineer within the Lunar/Mars Integration Group, and Deputy Manager of the Open Innovation Program, where they founded the International Space Apps Challenge. Currently, Chris serves as the Exploration EVA Provider Lead for Human Health and Performance at Leidos, while previously leading design efforts at BLUE ORIGIN. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Clarkson University and remains dedicated to advancing human exploration in space.
