Jay Troy, PMP, is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in engineering and program management across multiple domains, including defense, healthcare, and security systems. Currently serving as the Director of Innovation and Chief Engineer/Master Solution Architect at Leidos since July 2019, Jay focuses on advanced systems integration and modernization within the DOD Healthcare Management System. Prior positions include Senior Software Manager and Senior Program Manager at Smiths Detection, Inc., where successful proposal development was a hallmark. Jay has also led initiatives in robotics and UAV technology at Piasecki Aircraft Corporation and contributed to key projects at Northrop Grumman Corp and Delaware Valley Solution Systems. A graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Jay has been instrumental in pioneering significant technological advancements, including the world’s first fully autonomous man-rated helicopter flight.
