Mark Land is a highly motivated technical professional who has been the Deputy Program Manager and Chief Software Engineer at Leidos since 2014, overseeing the $1.9B Automated Flight Service Station (AFSS) program. Prior to this role, Mark was a Program Manager at COMSAT Laboratories and held various engineering positions at Lockheed Martin, including Chief Software Engineer and Operations Site Lead on the AFSS program. Mark began their career as a Lead Programmer at IBM from 1989 to 1995. Mark earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a minor in Math from the University of Pittsburgh.
