Annie Powell

Annie Powell has extensive experience in legal practice, currently serving as a Partner and previously as an Associate Solicitor and Solicitor in the Employment and Discrimination Team at Leigh Day since April 2015. Prior to this, Annie worked as an Advice Worker at Waterloo Action Centre/Legal Advice Service from November 2013 to April 2015 and contributed as a Writer and Contributing Editor for Left Foot Forward during the same period. Additional experience includes roles as a Parliamentary Assistant for the Shadow Treasury Team in Parliament from June 2012 to March 2013 and an internship at ShareAction from January 2012 to June 2012. Annie's legal career began as a Trainee Solicitor at Travers Smith from September 2009 to September 2011. Academic qualifications include a Legal Practice Course and Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School, as well as a History degree from the University of Cambridge.
