Claire Powell

International Human Rights Solicitor at Leigh Day

Claire Powell is an International Human Rights Solicitor at Leigh Day since September 2019 and previously held the position of Trainee Solicitor. Claire obtained a Master's degree with distinction in Advanced Drafting and Legal Practice from Swansea University, completing electives in Employment, Family, and Advanced Criminal Law. Prior to this, Claire was self-employed as an EFL Teacher and Conversation Tutor in Rome and worked as an Immigration Accredited Caseworker and Housing Caseworker at Duncan Lewis Solicitors Ltd. Claire has also gained experience as a research assistant at Cardiff University and served as Secretary for the Cardiff University Law Society. Claire holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law and Politics from Cardiff University and has a background in A Levels and GCSEs from Strode College and Huish Episcopi Academy, respectively.
