David Preston

David Preston is a highly experienced legal professional specializing in catastrophic injury law. Currently a Partner and Senior Associate Solicitor at Leigh Day since January 2017, David represents clients with severe brain injuries, spinal injuries, amputations, and complex orthopaedic injuries, while also providing support to families affected by fatal incidents. Prior to this role, David served as a Solicitor at Irwin Mitchell from June 2008 to December 2016 and began the legal career as a Trainee Solicitor and Paralegal. David's foundation in healthcare includes a position as a Support Worker at Neuropartners from June 2006 to June 2009, aiding individuals with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions. Academically, David holds a First Class BSc (Hons) in Psychology from Newcastle University and has completed a Law LPC with Distinction and a Law PgDL with Commendation at Northumbria University.
