Julia Eriksen

Julia Eriksen is an Associate Solicitor in the Environment Team and Human Rights department at Leigh Day, where expertise encompasses public law, planning, and environmental litigation on behalf of claimants. Previously, Julia served as a Human Rights/Environment Paralegal at Leigh Day and completed a Paralegal role at the Environmental Law Foundation. As a Phil Michaels Legal Scholar at Friends of the Earth, Julia conducted legal research and analysis in various areas, presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders. Additional experience includes roles as a Recycling Advisor at Southwark Council and as a Consultant at 180 Degrees Consulting. Educational qualifications include a Solicitor’s Qualifying Exam from BARBRI, a Graduate Diploma in Law from The University of Law, a Master's degree in Environmental Law and Sustainable Development from SOAS University of London, and a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of York. A-Levels in Geography, English Literature, Biology, and Mathematics were completed at Chipping Norton School.
