Philippa Wheeler

Philippa Wheeler is an accomplished Associate Solicitor at Leigh Day since October 2018, where previous roles included Trainee Solicitor and Clinical Negligence Paralegal. Before joining Leigh Day, Philippa worked as a Mental Health Law Paralegal at Creighton and Partners from October 2017 to October 2018 and completed a legal internship at the Office of State Public Defender in August 2016. Additionally, Philippa contributed to the Death Penalty Project Attorney Support Programme from January 2013 to August 2016 as Group Lead. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in European Law from the University of Warwick, a Legal Practice Course LLM from The University of Law, and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Human Rights, Justice and Conflict from SOAS University of London, as well as a law degree from Université du Droit et de la Santé (Lille II). Early experience includes work placements at Lewis and Lines Solicitors in 2010 and 2013.
