Daniel Rennie is an experienced executive currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at LEILAC since November 2021. Prior to this role, Rennie was the General Manager for Europe at Calix Limited, where responsibilities included overseeing the development and implementation of decarbonisation technologies and key projects such as LEILAC1 and LEILAC2. Rennie's career at Calix also included serving as Project Coordinator for the LEILAC1 project, which focused on capturing CO2 emissions in the lime and cement sector. Earlier experience includes working as Network Project Manager - Europe at the Global CCS Institute, where emphasis was on advancing CCS development, and as Programme Analyst & Change Control Lead at RWE, managing substantial budgets and projects. Rennie's professional journey began as an IT Consultant and English and History Tutor after obtaining a Master of Arts in Ancient History from the University of St Andrews.
