Joanna Hanzel

Joanna Hanzel is an experienced professional in the field of environmental sciences, currently serving as a Projektmanagerin at Leipziger Messe GmbH since September 2022. Prior to this role, Joanna worked as a Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin at Kunststoff-Zentrum in Leipzig gGmbH and held multiple positions at the Deutsches Zentrum für integrative Biodiversitätsforschung (iDiv) from December 2015 to September 2020, including Member Relations Officer and Scientific Coordinator. From February 2012 to September 2015, Joanna was a Scientific Coordinator at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, and earlier, conducted research as a Doktorandin at Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) between September 2006 and April 2010.
