Stephany Cabrejos has work experience in various roles and companies. In 2017, they worked as a Server Trainer at AMC Theatres, where they trained new hires and improved training documents. From 2020 to 2021, they served as an Assistant Manager at Healthy Garden, where they handled clerical duties, supported the business through social media marketing, and documented revenue reports. In 2021, they interned as a Green Team Intern at PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies, conducting research on battery technologies for New Jersey Transit. In 2022, they became the AIChE Treasurer at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, managing finances and designing customized lab coats for the ChemE Car team. Additionally, they served as a ChemE Car Competition Assistant Event Coordinator for AIChE, collaborating with NJIT to host a regional conference and addressing queries related to the ChemE Car aspect of the event. Most recently in 2023, they joined Leistritz Advanced Technologies Corp. as an Application Engineer (Inside Sales). Throughout their work experience, Stephany has demonstrated their ability to provide guidance and support to others, improve processes, and contribute to various projects.
Stephany Cabrejos is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Stephany is expected to complete their degree in 2023. Prior to their university education, Stephany attended New Jean Piaget College, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Additionally, Stephany has obtained several certifications and completed various courses to enhance their professional skills. These include certifications in hazards and risk assessment, process safety ethics, fire hazards, toxicological hazards, chemical reactivity hazards, source models, and atmospheric dispersion, all from the AIChE - American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Stephany has also completed courses on Excel fundamentals for data analysis, MATLAB, sustainability leadership, the art of science communication, inclusive leadership, first step Korean, creativity, innovation and transformation, and RCR for students, offered by institutions such as Coursera, MathWorks, Montclair State University, and the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB).
