Jim Gilliland

Jim Gilliland began their work experience in 1993 at HSBC Asset Management Canada, where they held the position of Vice President until 2001. Jim then joined Barclays Global Investors, serving as the Managing Director - Fixed Income from 2002 to 2009. In 2009, they joined Leith Wheeler Investment Counsel Ltd. as the Head of Fixed Income, and later became the President and CEO in 2013.

Jim Gilliland completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from The University of British Columbia between 1989 and 1993. Later, they pursued a Master of Financial Engineering (MFE) at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 2001 to 2002.
