In 2022, they worked as a Software Architect at Württembergische Versicherung and as a Chief Technology Officer at smart-places.io. Manuel previously served as a Senior Agile Coach - SCRUM Master at BIKE24 and as the CEO & Founder of Mteron from 2020 to 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior C# Developer at HomeChoice and as an Intermediate C# Developer at NML. Manuel has experience in cloud engineering from their role as a Cloud Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and also holds a Private Pilot License from Morningstar Flight School.

Manuel Mueller obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical Engineering - Automation and Energy Technology from the University of Applied Sciences Karlsruhe. This was completed between the years 2006 and 2010. Following this, they pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Business Administration and Engineering, also from the University of Applied Sciences Karlsruhe, which they completed between 2010 and 2012.
