Pelonomi Moiloa

Pelonomi Moiloa is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in data science, engineering, and community-focused initiatives. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Lelapa AI since December 2022, Pelonomi also directs The Ungovernable NPC, which fosters community engagement through collaborative projects. Previously, Pelonomi held the position of Data Scientist and Team Lead at Nedbank, overseeing various data-driven projects related to online fraud and market research. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tohoku University and dual degrees in Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand. Pelonomi's early career included internships at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research and Lodox Systems, where foundational work in data science and engineering was established.
