Nargess Heydari is a seasoned professional in the field of research and development with a focus on artificial intelligence and biomedical engineering. Currently serving as VP of R&D at Lemay.ai since May 2023, Nargess has previously held the position of Advanced Signal Processing R&D Scientist at MMSENSE Technologies Inc. and completed a PhD at the University of Waterloo where significant research contributions included algorithm development for various biomedical applications. With experience as a GSA Councillor, Nargess actively represented graduate students and designed initiatives to enhance student engagement within the systems design engineering department. Additional internships at Grand River Hospital and HelpWear involved collaboration with healthcare professionals and algorithm development for wearable health technology. Nargess's academic background includes a Master's degree in Bioengineering from Iran University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology.
