Nihel Msilini

Nihel Msilini has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps and Cloud engineering. Nihel started their career as an Engineering Trainee at Tunisie Télécom in 2014. Nihel then worked as a Trainee at Linux Academy in 2015.

In 2015, they joined Sagemcom Tunisie as a PFE, where they gained practical experience in the field.

Starting in 2016, Nihel worked at Poulina Group Holding as a DevOps Engineer, focusing on continuous integration and deployment of e-commerce applications. Nihel utilized Ansible for environment configuration and application deployment automation, and also worked on Dockerization of MEAN applications.

In the same year, they joined Xeodata by Edatis as a System and Network Administrator DevOps. Here, they were responsible for integration and continuous delivery using GitLab and Jenkins, and also conducted tests on code quality using SonarQube.

In 2017, Nihel worked at Agyla as a Cloud and DevOps Engineer, where they continued to enhance their skills in the field.

From 2017 to 2018, they joined Ditto Bank as a DevOps Architect, where they integrated new projects on various platforms, monitored and supervised servers/services, prepared runbooks, proposed DevOps projects for process improvement, and managed alerts.

Nihel then joined ORANGE CLOUD FOR BUSINESS as a DevOps Consultant from 2018 to 2019.

Nihel'smost recent role was at Ditto Services as an Ingénieur DevOps et Cloud from 2019 to 2021, where they continued to contribute their expertise in the DevOps and Cloud engineering field.

Currently, Nihel is employed at Lemonway as an SRE DevOps Engineer starting from 2021.

Nihel Msilini began their education in 2010, attending ISSAT Gabès where they completed a Preparatory National Exam in Physics and Chemistry. Nihel then attended the National Engineering School of Gabès from 2012 to 2015, earning an Engineer's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications.

Nihel also obtained several certifications, including Cisco CCNA 1 from Cisco in January 2015, and the TCF in April 2015. Nihel further pursued various certifications related to computer systems and programming through online platforms like LinuxAcademy.com, such as Apache Tomcat 8 Application Server, DevOps Essentials, Git and Git lab - Start to Finish, Introduction To Python On Linux, Introduction To Ruby Programming Language On Linux, Introduction To The Linux Academy, Learning Vagrant, Linux Foundation Certified Systems Engineer, Mastering The Linux Command Line, Nginx And The LEMP Stack, and PostgreSQL 9.4 Administration.

Additionally, Nihel obtained the Entrepreneur en action certification from Firme de formation en Entrepreneurship Maxime Victor. Nihel also holds the TOEIC certification from AMIDEAST and a certification in Using Ansible for Configuration Management and Deployments from LinuxAcademy.com.
