Kegan Zema

Kegan Zema is an engineer and producer at Lemonada Media. Kegan has also worked as a freelance audio engineer, audio video technician, audiobook engineer and producer, and per diem engineer.

Kegan began their career as an audio video technician at Meredith Corporation in July 2017. In this role, they were responsible for setting up and operating audio and video equipment for live and recorded events.

Kegan then transitioned to working as an audiobook engineer and producer at DuArt Media Services in January 2016. In this role, they were responsible for recording, editing, and producing audiobooks. Kegan also worked with clients to ensure that their audiobooks met their quality standards.

In September 2015, Kegan began working as a per diem engineer at New York Public Radio. In this role, they assisted the engineering team with various tasks, including organizing Pro Tools sessions, leveling clip gain, editing audio, and mixing VO, interviews, and ambience. Kegan also ensured that long-term loudness specs were met and coordinated with the advertising team to create pre-roll, mid-roll, and post-roll spots that ran across the Gimlet Media network.

Kegan has also worked as a freelance audio engineer for Gimlet Media. In this role, they assisted the in-house engineering team with tasks such as editing audio, mixing VO, interviews, and ambience. Kegan also cleaned up and processed audio files using iZotope RX and ensured that long-term loudness specs were met.
