Copywriter

What you’re applying for: We’re looking for a Copywriter to join Lemonade’s in-house Creative team.

Your main job will be to conceptualize ideas, and then collaborate with our team of designers, illustrators, writers, and videographers to bring them to life. You’ll need to have a firm grasp of our tone of voice, a passion for witty marketing copy, and a knack for owning and driving projects from start to finish with the help of relevant partners.

The starting base range for this position is between $85,000 and $105,000 per year. Base pay is one component of Lemonade's total compensation package, which will also include equity in the form of RSUs, access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan with company match, robust PTO, parental leave, and more.

In this role you’ll:

• Conceptualize surprising and delightful ideas for all Lemonade platforms
• Write smart and witty copy
• Answer briefs from the Product teams, while working proactively to identify opportunities
• Bring your ideas to life; you’ll need to be hands-on and love the craft as much as the ideation
• Solve strategic challenges with top-quality creative
• Help elevate all Lemonade’s advertising communication

What you’ll need

• 3+ years experience at an advertising agency as a copywriter
• A shareable portfolio of work that shows your conceptual and writing skills
• Experience working on digital (ideally acquisition ads)
• Ability to work in an office environment
