Joe Selsavage

Joe Selsavage is the current Chief Financial Officer at Lemonaid Health. Prior to this, they were with Metromile from August 2015 to February 2018, where they served as the company's first CFO and was responsible for establishing all finance functions, including FP&A, financial reporting, and financial operations. Joe also oversaw HR, recruiting, and legal. Joe raised over $150 million in equity funding for Metromile and acquired a shell insurance company. Joe then oversaw regulatory approval and launch of Metromile Insurance Company, transitioning the company from a Managing General Agent (MGA) to an insurance company. As part of the transition to an insurance company, Joe established a reinsurance program for Metromile Insurance Company, allowing the business to scale without significant statutory capital.

From February 2018 to November 2020, Joe worked as a consultant with Red Eclipse Consulting. Prior to that, they served as Chief Financial Officer at Hotwire from July 2001 to July 2015.

Joe Selsavage has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the MIT Sloan School of Management, an MA in Accounting from The Catholic University of America, and a BA in Finance/Economics from The Catholic University of America. Joe also has a certification from California as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Joe Selsavage reports to Paul Johnson, CEO. They are on a team with Kit Tse - COO, UK, Eland Siddle - Head of Pharmacy, and Dan Guy - Head of Marketing.
