Bill Thieke

Bill Thieke is a retired technology professional with extensive experience in higher education and technology support. Currently retired since February 2018, Bill has served as the Director of Technology Support Services at Le Moyne College since November 1999, managing support for faculty, staff, and students. Bill has additionally held roles such as Instructional Technology Consultant at AJCU-CITM since 2000 and has previous experience as Assistant Director of Information Technology at Hamilton College and Computer and Software Support Specialist at OCM BOCES. Early career positions include Assistant to the Director of Residence Life at Syracuse University and Interim Director of Student Activities at Onondaga Community College. Bill's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Syracuse University, an MPA in Science and Technology Administration from the Maxwell School, and a BS in Wildlife Biology from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
