Radhy Miranda is currently a Board Member at Le Moyne College. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Government & Community Relations at the New York City Economic Development Corporation from December 2017 to April 2022. In this role, they supervised staff spearheading community relations for citywide initiatives and NYCEDC’s and job-intensive assets, particularly in Upper Manhattan and The Bronx. Radhy also planned and implemented strategic inter-agency outreach plans, including press releases and events with elected officials and NYC Mayor, to garner public support for administration priorities and secure millions of dollars in funding for projects.
Before their time at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, Radhy Miranda was the Assistant Director of Community Programs & Partnerships at Columbia University from March 2012 to December 2017. In this role, they were responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing programs outlined by Columbia’s legal commitment to the Empire State Development and the northern Manhattan community as it continued to build a multi-decade campus expansion in West Harlem. Additionally, they created, promoted, executed and reported on community outreach initiatives, including: job fairs, information sessions, community service events, park restoration projects, community mural paintings, athletic workshops and more. Radhy also built and maintained public and private partnerships with community organizations and government agencies during their time at Columbia University.
Radhy Miranda has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Columbia | SIPA in Management & Finance. Radhy also has a Dual Bachelor of Science from Le Moyne College in Marketing and Management & Leadership, with minors in Human Resources, Communications, and Philosophy.
