Steffen Husted Damsgaard

Steffen Husted Damsgaard serves as Formand for Landdistrikternes Fællesråd since March 2008, focusing on rural policy advocacy in Denmark, and additionally holds the position of Formand in Videncenter for Landdistrikter. Damsgaard is also Formand for Teknik- & Miljøudvalget in Lemvig Kommune while participating as Bestyrelsesformand in several organizations, including Lemvig Vand A/S and UNESCO Global Geopark Vestjylland. Damsgaard’s roles extend to various board memberships such as Central Denmark EU Office, Nomi4s i/s, and Energnist, all emphasizing regional development and environmental sustainability. Educational achievements include a HA degree from AU Herning and qualifications from Lægaard Landbrugsskole and Lemvig Handelsskole & Handelsgymnasium.
