Jim van Doren

Jim Van Doren currently serves as the Chairman of the Lenawee County Board of Commissioners, a role held since January 2023. Prior to this position, Jim held the title of Executive Director at Lenawee Now from 2011 to January 2023 and was a Partner at The Greater Ann Arbor Region during the same timeframe. Jim's experience in public service includes a decade as Chairperson on the Lenawee County Board of Commissioners from 2000 to 2010. In the private sector, Jim contributed as VP and GM at Gentner, Inc. and Detail K2 Inc., as well as in roles at Simplex Products/K2, Inc. Jim Van Doren possesses a solid educational background from Western Michigan University.
