Justin Schmidt

Justin Schmidt has extensive experience in welding technology and education, currently serving as an Instructor of Welding Technology at the LISD Tech Center since 2012 and at Jackson College since 2012. Justin also holds the position of CEO/President at JCS MetalWorks since 2019 and has been a Welding Engineer at JCS Welding Services LLC since 2002, providing a range of welding-related services. Additional teaching roles include Engineering Instructor at Siena Heights University from January 2020 to May 2022, and Instructor of Welding at Monroe County Community College and the Academy for Manufacturing Careers. Justin’s educational background includes a BS in Welding Engineering Technology from Ferris State University and an AAS in Welding Technology from Ferris State University.
