Lauren Sigal began their work experience in 2010 as a Summer Student at Macdonald Sager Manis LLP. Lauren then worked as a Student-at-Law from 2011 to 2012 before becoming a Lawyer at the same firm from 2012 to 2020. In 2020, they joined Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) as a Manager, Professional Resources, and later became the Director, Talent Advisory - Legal until 2023. Currently, they are the Director of Legal Talent at Lenczner Slaght.

Lauren Sigal pursued their higher education starting from 2003 to 2008 at York University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology and Psychology. Following this, from 2008 to 2011, they attended Western University, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree, specializing in the field of Law.
