Lily Zhou has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Lily began their career as a Receptionist/Administrative Worker at Hotel Bazar in 2008. In 2010, they took on the role of Boardmember at Stichting Programmaraad Rotterdam and Exchange Executive Digital at Mindshare. At Mindshare, they were responsible for planning and executing online campaigns for clients such as BP, Koninklijke Auping, and Unilever. In 2015, they were promoted to Manager Connection Planning Unilever and Exchange Director Digital at Mindshare Netherlands. In 2017, they moved to Unilever as Digital Marketing Manager a.i., where they were responsible for the rollout of data-driven marketing initiatives. In 2018, they began working as a Digital Consultant at Studio Daisy Kroon and as Head of Marketing and Growth Strategist at Lendahand.
Lily Zhou completed their VWO degree at Twents Carmel College, Oldenzaal in 2002. Lily then went on to study at Leiden University, where they earned a BSc in 2003-2007, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Cultural Anthropology. In 2007-2008, they pursued a Pre-Master in Media & Journalism at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Finally, they earned an MA in Media & Journalism at Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2008-2009.
