Kelly Smith has a strong work history with experience in various roles and industries. Kelly began their professional career at Silver Diner in 2002 as a Floor Manager, where they supervised a team of 40 employees and managed shift operations. In 2003, they moved to Red Robin, where they worked as a Mid Manager and Lead Trainer. Their responsibilities included scheduling, cash handling, and training new associates. Kelly implemented team-building activities that successfully reduced staff turnover.

In 2005, Kelly joined Option One Mortgage as a Project Manager/Liaison Lead. Kelly managed offshore operations teams in multiple locations and served as a Subject Matter Expert between the US and Indian branches. Kelly also resolved training opportunities and maintained strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

From 2008 to 2013, Kelly worked at Homeward Residential, Inc. as a Servicing Specialist in Correspondence. Kelly managed a diverse team and provided subject matter expertise in resolving executive customer complaints. Kelly facilitated daily huddles to enhance communication and employee motivation.

Most recently, Kelly has been employed at Lenderworks since 2013. Kelly started as a System Support Team Lead before progressing to the role of Business Systems Operations Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Manager - Business Systems. Their responsibilities include collaborating with application owners, developers, and clients to understand business requirements and provide recommendations for software improvement. Kelly also writes test scripts, conducts UAT testing, and manages the Change Management process.

Kelly Smith attended Northern Virginia Community College from 1999 to 2001, where they did not obtain a degree nor specialize in any particular field of study. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the ITIL Continual Service Improvement certification from PeopleCert in April 2018. Kelly also obtained the DMAIC certification in January 2009 and the FDCPA certification in April 2012. The institutions from which they obtained the DMAIC and FDCPA certifications are unknown.
