Sagar Gopanapalli

Sagar Gopanapalli is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in software development and management. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at LendingClub since November 2013, Sagar has ascended through various roles, including Sr. Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager. Prior to LendingClub, Sagar worked as a Software Engineer at Hotwire and gained foundational experience as a Graduate Assistant at East Tennessee State University. Earlier in the career, Sagar held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Reliance Communications, focusing on real-time call handling and billing applications, and completed an internship as a Software Developer at Reflexis Systems Inc. Sagar holds a Master’s degree in Computer and Information Sciences from East Tennessee State University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
